Talking Stick Golf Club

Talking Stick Golf Club on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community reservation features two courses.

The O'odham Course (formerly known as the North Course), designed by dynamic duo Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers many options depending on one’s skill level. The second hole is a par-5 that measures 552 yards from the Black tee and is one of two long holes, with the 17th also being a par-5 that plays to 582 yards from the Black tees. The 18th hole is shorter, relatively speaking, a par 4 that measures 471 yards from the Black tees.

The Piipaash Course (previously known as the South Course), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides, offers a more straightforward style of play. The course kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees, followed by three long par-5 holes that ensure power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards. The round concludes on a relatively shorter par-4 that measures 323 yards.

Celebrate the end of a round by heading back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.
